1. Cobertura de garantía

1.1 Warranty Term

  • 1-Year Free Warranty on all devices.

  • Certain models qualify for 2-Year Warranty (confirm with your consultant).

  • Lifetime Maintenance Support for all Fotromed clients.

1.2 What’s Included

During the free warranty period, Fotromed provides:

  • Remote Troubleshooting & Guidance

    • Step-by-step support via email, video, or Zoom.

    • Engineer-led diagnosis with clear documentation.

  • Free Spare Parts

    • Any parts required to solve a technical issue will be supplied free of charge.

    • Shipping of small spare parts may be covered within the first year.

  • Product Replacement

    • If a major defect cannot be resolved by repair, Fotromed will provide a brand-new replacement device.

    • Buyer is responsible for freight costs, including import/export taxes and customs clearance fees.

2. Exclusions from Warranty

The Warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • Misuse or Negligence

    • Damage caused by improper operation, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow the user manual.

  • Lack of Maintenance

    • Not cleaning filters, using unapproved liquids, or failing to follow care instructions.

  • Consumibles

    • Items such as tips, cartuchos, gels, líquidos, and filters are not covered.

  • Cosmetic Wear

    • Scratches, dents, or minor appearance issues that do not affect machine performance.

  • Accidents & External Causes

    • Dropping, power surges, fire, flood, earthquake, or other natural disasters.

  • Revenue Loss

    • Fotromed is not responsible for business downtime during repairs or replacements.

3. Shipping Damage Protection Guarantee (7 Days)

To ensure machines arrive safely, Fotromed provides a 7-Day Damage Protection Guarantee.

3.1 Requirements

  • Unboxing Video:

    • Must record the entire process from delivery to full unpacking.

    • Show shipping label, all sides of the package, and full unsealing.

    • Machine must be inspected from all angles on video.

    • Video must be continuous (no cuts, no re-packing).

  • Report Timeline:

    • Any damage or wrong item must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.

    • Report must include video evidence and be sent in writing (correo electrónico).

  • Assessment Process:

    • Fotromed Technical Team reviews evidence.

    • Video call may be requested to confirm damage.

    • If confirmed, Fotromed provides a free replacement machine.

3.2 Exceptions

The Damage Protection Guarantee does not cover:

  • Damage caused during unpacking (scratches from floor, sharp tools, etc.).

  • Claims without valid unboxing video.

  • Cosmetic-only damage or packaging damage.

  • Reports made after 7 días.

  • Buyer dissatisfaction with treatment results (not damage-related).

4. Customer Responsibilities

To keep your warranty valid, you must:

  • Follow all usage, seguridad, and maintenance instructions.

  • Use only authorized consumables and accessories.

  • Provide photo/video evidence when reporting an issue.

  • Participate in scheduled video calls for technical checks if requested.

  • Avoid unauthorized modifications or self-repairs.
